07/22/2022 Physical Security Risk Assessment RFP

Ross, City of Santa Cruz

Hi Everyone,
I am in the process of drafting an RFP to hire a consultant to perform a physical security risk assessment on City facilities.  Have any of you or your entities done something like this?  I am looking for example RFPs to help me craft one specific to the needs of Santa Cruz.

Good morning Marcus,

In the past we utilized our own City of Modesto PD rather than an outside vendor. The reasoning was that MPD would be the responding party, so should be the ones to know and identify any soft spots in our security.

In addition our Water Treatment section recently coordinated with DHS for a Threat Assesment and this was something that was conducted free of charge.
